When I trace to a target (usually by entering an IP address), it shows up with a name that isn't very helpful. Is there any way to change that?
Yup. There are several possibilities here.
- When entering the target IP address, add an "alias" after the IP address. We talk about this more in this knowledge base article.
- If you're using PingPlotter Pro, we have an extension that will let you rename any hop or target. You can get that extension here.
